UNIFORMS - GAME PORTAL


The GAME Portal is now open and will remain open until 10:00am on Friday 6th February 2026. There is a sizing chart for each item on the portal for you to refer to if you are unable to attend the try-on day.

For taller players, please remember you can order the dresses with 1, 2 or 3 inch additional length.

The new Blue Jays uniforms are now compulsory.

The uniform requirements are as follows:
  • Blue Jays dress with either Blue Jays bike shorts or plain black/navy bike shorts, OR
  • Blue Jays singlet with either plain black shorts or plain black leggings
  • White or black crop tops can be worn under the dress and singlet
  • Blue Jays ankle or crew length socks or plain white socks


For Juniors, Inters and Opens, we will be holding a try-on session on Saturday 31st January 2026 at trials at St Rita's College — there will be a 45min window before each age group trials.

Times are as follows:
  • Juniors: 7.45am - 8.30am
  • Inters: 10.15am - 11.00am
  • Opens: 1.45pm - 2.30pm

For Moddies, we will be holding a try-on session on Thursday 5th February 2026 at their 'Intro to Blue Jays' night.

We will have playing dresses, singlets, training/supporter polos available to try-on.


We are offering player and supporters' apparel again this year — this includes two styles of Polos, two styles of Jackets and a Hoodie. These can be purchased on the GAME Portal, alongside dresses, singlets and bike shorts.

ROUND 2 OF PLAY ON VOUCHERS


Round 2 of the Play On Vouchers opens on 29 January, after our registrations close on 23 January — but players waiting for Round 2 are still encouraged to register!

If you're planning to use a Round 2 Play On Voucher, please email Lucy, our secretary, to let us know you're waiting for Round 2 (secretary@bluejaysnetball.com) — we'll contact you to arrange an alternative payment option for your registration!

Trials are 31 January — please make sure you're registered or in contact with us, so you don't miss out on trial allocations!

We don't want voucher timing to stop anyone from playing — get in touch if you have any questions!

GRADING SESSIONS FOR WDS 2026


1st Grading Session - Saturday 31st January 2026

2nd Grading Session - Saturday 7th February 2026

Location - St Rita's College (41 Enderley Road, Clayfield)

NOTE: All players are expected to attend both sessions.

Grading Session Information

  • Players are to wear either shorts or bike pants with a top
  • No representative or team-based shirts are to be worn (i.e. BNA Rep, Cougars, etc.)
  • No spectators will be permitted due to space limitations — drop off and pick up ONLY
  • Late arrivals of more than 10 minutes will not be able to enter the grading session without prior arrangements.
  • Players that are unable to attend a trial session must notify our secretary via email (secretary@bluejaysnetball.com)
  • Players are encouraged to bring snacks and water to the trial sessions — please note, these snacks cannot contain nuts or traces of nuts due to players with anaphylaxis. We will be double checking this and will hold onto any snacks with nuts for the duration of the session and return these at the end of the session. To make it easier, please do not send snacks with nuts or traces of nuts!
  • A communication will be sent out to parents letting them know of any time changes via our Facebook page.


Please note that the Moddies Age Group (Born 2018 or 2017) will not be participating in these Grading Sessions for Winter 2026.

Moddies players will instead be required to participate in a 'Welcome to Blue Jays' session on Thursday 5th February 2026 at Brisbane Netball Association.

UNIFORMS

Most uniform items are ordered through the GAME portal, which is only open for a certain timeframe, TBA.

Some items, like socks, are available season round through our Blue Jays website - online shop.

Uniforms must be paid in full prior to collection.

2026 SEASON INFORMATION


A Men's / Mixed Opens Competition will run separately to the Ladies/Girl's ONLY Opens Competition if BNA get enough teams to fill the competition.

If you are interested in playing in the Men's / Mixed Opens Competition, please send an email through to secretary@bluejaysnetball.com.

  • Female players can choose to play in a Men's / Mixed team and/or their female only team - HOWEVER, this is subject to player availability.
  • If a female player wishes to play in both a Men's / Mixed team and a female only team, they will need to complete two registrations - there will be an additional fee for the 2nd registration TBC

The other age groups (Moddies, Juniors and Intermediates) will continue as a mixed competition.


All Divisions will start Fixtures on Saturday 21st March 2026.

There are two grading rounds—Saturday 21st March and 28th March 2026. We are then on break until Saturday 9th May, due to school holidays, ANZAC Day and the Labor Day long weekend. Teams will not train over the school holidays (02/04, 09/04 and16/04)—training will recommence when Term 2 starts back.

Moddies Division will finish their season on 1st August 2025.

Junior, Intermediate and Open Divisions will finish their regular season on 1st August 2025.

Finals will begin on 8th August 2025, with Grand Finals held on 22nd August 2025 (subject to wet weather provisions).

There is a break from fixtures during school holidays from 27th June 2025 to 11th July 2025. Please note that the 27th June will be used as a Wet Weather round should any grading games or Rounds 1-7 be washed out.

PAYMENT PLANS ARE AVAILABLE


Members can organise a payment plan through Sean, our treasurer, by emailing, treasurer@bluejaysnetball.com.

You must be pre-approved for a payment plan before completing your registration/s. There is no option to utilise payment plans through Netball Connect due to previous issues with payment finalisation.

Pre-approved members will input a single use discount code at the checkout when registering in Netball Connect, which will result in a nil payment. The single use discount code will be provided by the Treasurer once approved for payment plan. Payment timeframes will be set with the Treasurer and payments must be complete prior to TBC. Incomplete payments will result in player not being able to take the court.

FAIR PLAY VOUCHERS


Please refer to the Fair Play Vouchers Menu under Club Information.

Once you have received your voucher, please send it to the Blue Jays Registrar and Treasurer, so we can apply it to your fees.

TRAINING OVER WDS


Blue Jays training night for Winter Season will most likely be Thursday nights.

Training times will be determined by coach and court availability on our allocated night. Generally the duration of each training session will be an hour.

Players are expected to attend all training sessions. If a player is unable to attend training, the player or parent/guardian must contact the coach and/or team manager to notify them of the player's absence.
