Blue Jays Netball Club

Location: St Rita's College (41 Enderley Rd Clayfield) 

Drop off point at the letterbox near the Pool entrance. Blue Jays Committee members will meet players their for registration. 

The following instructions are relevant for trials: 

• No representative or team-based shirts are to be worn.  eg, BNA rep, Firebirds, lightning, cougars. 
• No spectators will be permitted due to space limitations - drop off/pick up only 
• Late arrivals (more than 10 minutes) will not be able to enter without prior arrangement.  You must contact Katrina Hawes (0435 082 932) on arrival.  
• Bring plenty of water and food. 
• A communication will be sent out to parents letting them know when their child's age group will be taken to the pick up point, via facebook.   Planned finish times are below.
  

Opens Age Group:

( Born 2007 or earlier)

Registration time: 12.30pm

Time: 1pm - 3pm

Intermediates Age Group: 

(Born in 2009, 2008 or 2010)

Registration time: 10am

Time: 10.30am -12.30pm

Junior Age Group: 

(Born in 2011, 2012 or 2013*)

*2013 born must have played Moddies.

Registration time: 7.30am

Time: 8am - 10am

Summer Season is mostly paper graded however there will be Skills Clinics run for Moddies teams.

# Club graders may choose to place players in higher divisions where skill level is appropriate.

Go & Intermediate Divisions will be playing on Tuesdays commencing from 4 October 2022. 

Junior & Open Divisions will be playing on Wednesdays commencing from 5 October 2022. 

There will be a Christmas & New Year Break from 8 December 2022 to 23 January 2023.  

Grand Finals will be held on 14th and 15th February 2023 (subject to wet weather provisions).

• PLEASE NOTE: Final payment date is 5th September 2022. Players who have not paid their fees by this date will not be permitted to take the court. Fees for Summer season are discounted for those players who played Winter season due to already paid insurance and a club returning player discount. 

You must be pre-approved for a payment plan before completing your registration/s.

There is no option to utilise payment plans through NetballConnect due to previous issues with payment finalisation. 

Pre-approved members will input a single use discount code at the checkout when registering in NetballConnect which will result in a nil payment. The single use discount code will be provided by the Treasurer (treasurer@bluejaysnetball.com). Payment timeframes will be set with the treasurer and payments must be complete prior to 10 September 2022. Incomplete payments will result in players not being able to take the court.

Please ensure you check your player's shoes for grip and appropriate support to help minimise risk of joint related injuries.

Blue Jays Secondhand Uniforms

Blue Jays teams generally train on Thursday nights.  This is subject to court and coach availability.  Coaches will arrange training sessions once teams are announced on 13th September 2022. 

For some older teams (Inters and Opens) not all teams will train in Summer season.

This is the best information available at time of publishing and registration.  

With NetSetGo players born from 2013 - 2015 the below table assists with determining the most appropriate division for the 2022/2023 Summer Night Season.  Please email registrar@bluejaysnetball.com if you have any queries.

Once you have received your voucher send it to the Blue Jays Treasurer to obtain your discount code to be entered into NetballConnect at time of registration.  This code cannot be shared as it is single use only.  If a code is used inappropriately an additional payment will be requested.
